1. Data We Collect
INR Buddy collects only the data you choose to enter directly into the app:
- INR values and their dates
- Your target INR range
- Medication name, weekly dosage schedule, and daily dose time
- Your next scheduled INR check date and reminder settings
- App preferences (notification settings, dose-taken status)
Report generation: If you choose to generate a PDF report, you are asked for your first name and last name. This information is used solely to personalise the PDF on your device. It is never transmitted, stored in any database, or retained after the report is generated.
No account, login, or internet connection is required to use this app.
2. How Your Data Is Stored
All data is stored exclusively on your device in a private local database. Your data is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party — by the app or by the operating system. Android's system Auto Backup feature is disabled for this app, so your data is never uploaded to Google Drive or any other cloud service.
3. Purpose of Processing
Your data is processed solely on your device to provide the app's features: displaying your INR history and charts, calculating your medication dose, showing your next check countdown, and generating local PDF reports.
4. Data Sharing
We do not collect, transmit, or share your data with anyone. No data ever leaves your device.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data remains on your device until you delete it. You can:
- Delete individual INR entries from within the app.
- Clear all app data via your device Settings → Apps → INR Buddy → Clear Data.
- Uninstall the app to remove all data permanently.
6. Health Data
INR values and medication information are health-related data. Because this data never leaves your device, it is not processed by us or any third party.
7. Security
Your data is stored in a private app database that is not accessible to other apps on your device. Because no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no network transmission risk.
8. Children
This app is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18.
9. Your Rights
Because all data is stored locally on your device and we never receive or process it, you have full and direct control over your data at all times.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document.
